Following our successful hosting of Junior Referee training programs in 2023 and 2024, Beaumaris SC is pleased to announce a new Junior Referees training program designed for teenagers aged 13-18 who wish to be qualified as a junior referee. On qualification, the referee will be able to be paid by FV to referee junior games at locations of their choosing including for junior Beaumaris SC games. Led by FV's Grant Spence and BSC Junior Director of Football Jamie Hollywood, Beauy is hosting a 3-week coaching certificate starting Friday 22 may at 6.30pm at the Beaumaris Reserve Pavilion. For all coaches and TMs, this is an excellent introduction to coaching children and will make your role more enjoyable. Beauy (ex) President Joe Mottola was honoured by Bayside Council with the Volunteer of the Year award 2026 at the Council Community Awards ceremony last night. Having been nominated by representatives of Football Victoria, Joe was one of three finalists for the prestigious award, and was thrilled to win for his 20+ year service to Beaumaris Soccer Club, and the football community in Bayside. What a great start to 2026 for BSC with further support committed by our friends at the Community Bank in Parkdale. Our committee has been working with Bayside Council for many years to improve and maintain the very best ground conditions at Beaumaris Reserve.
