Beauy enters Advanced Youth League in 2027
Following the excellent performance of our junior boys teams in 2026, FV have invited Beaumaris to enter teams in the u13, u14, u15, u16 and u18 Advanced Youth League in 2027.
This competition and our Advanced Youth League program is designed to provide enhanced coaching and talent development and a high level competitive environment for committed junior players.
The Beauy program is led by Junior Director of Football Jamie Hollywood and offers a structured pre-season training, high quality in-season training, certificated match-day coaching, video analysis and practice matches designed to provide the highest standard of junior player development and competition in the Bayside area.
Our participation by invitation is a natural extension of the pathway within Beaumaris Soccer Club that connects our junior program to participation in senior football. It creates opportunities for players to continue developing their talent whilst remaining within the culture of a strong community football club environment built on established and appropriate values and culture.
The first offer letters to those trialling for these teams were issued on Friday 16 October and places are being accepted. We expect all squads to be completed in the coming weeks and will shortly announce the BSC coaches allocated to each squad.
Pre-season training and friendly matches have been scheduled in November and December at the MCC's FIFA Grade One facility at the Beaumaris Secondary College. We thank the MCC for facilitating these activities. Training will resume in mid January in time for the season start in February 2027.
Al players accepting a position are expected to demonstrate a high level of commitment to their team, coaches and teammates. Attendance at scheduled training sessions and matches is expected unless a player is unavailable due to illness, injury or other approved absence. Players are also expected to attend training and match days in the approved Beaumaris apparel and to uphold the standards and values of Beaumaris Soccer Club.
Parents are expected to ensure players are supported throughout the season with an appropriate diet and ensuring all travel arrangements are made given the competition requires travel across metropolitan Melbourne and to locations in regional Victoria.
Beauy will continue to operate community teams across all junior age groups maintaining opportunities for all players to participate and develop within the club's broader community football program.
