Community Bank Parkdale… What a supporter!

What a great start to 2026 for BSC with further support committed by our friends at the Community Bank in Parkdale.

Our committee has been working with Bayside Council for many years to improve and maintain the very best ground conditions at Beaumaris Reserve. One of the key objectives has been the removal of the fixed goals on Pitch 1 (nearest the Club rooms) and provision of full size, match condition, portable goals so we can minimise usage of the Pitch 1 goalmouth and penalty areas.

Council has agreed to the storage of these portable goals around the perimeter of the ground during the season so in 2026, the only fixed goals will be on Pitch 2.

Our friends at the Bank have very kindly provided the funding for purchasing the goals themselves, being a contribution of a five-figure sum to the Club!

Anna Worsnop, the Community liaison Co-Ordinator/Director at the Bank commented ‘’I’m truly excited for the season and for building a strong partnership as we work together.’’
