Protect Your Child - An expert briefing on cyber risks targeting children

Beauy sponsors Optus to host a Digital Safety Awareness session at the BSC Pavilion on Wednesday 10 September at 6pm.

Optus have provided additional resources which will be available via the BSC website and our socials following this session addressing specific types of digital abuse that target children including:

• Cyber bullying & sextortion

• AI awareness

• Security and privacy

• Gaming addiction and exploitation            

The link below highlights the extent of the threat of sextortion and other digital crimes which target children, and their tragic consequences. In line with our Child Safety Policy, BSC and Optus are hosting this session to alert parents and guardians to this threat. An Optus subject matter expert will present to our members and answer parents questions.
