Beauy to host Football Victoria Foundation of Football coach training

Beauy is committed to the development of our kids and their skills development is dependent on the quality of the coaching they receive. Some of our coaches and players have coaching qualifications but not all so to ensure each coach has the essential Foundation of Football certificate, Junior Director of Football Jamie Hollywood has arranged for Football Victoria to run the course at the Beaumaris Reserve Rd on


  • Wednesday 30 April,

  • Wednesday 7 May and

  • Wednesday 14 May

The course runs from 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM each evening led by FV’s Grant Spence. The cost of the course will be reimbursed by the club for all Beauy coaches and players attending.


The course is limited to 24 attendees and Beauy members have a 14-day priority registration window starting today. Thereafter the course will be open to coaches of other clubs so please register now.


To obtain the Foundation of Football coach certificate you need to attend each practical session and complete the 2 online modules on the FA Learning Centre.



Send your receipt to Ben Tansing treasurer@beaumarissc.com.au for reimbursement and include the name of the team you are coaching. If you have a problem logging in take the following steps:


  • Ensure You Have an Active Registration on Play Football (Go straight to step 2 if you have this)

    As the Play Football and the Learning Centre portals are linked by our FA number, you must have an active coaching/refereeing registration on Play Football for Beaumaris SC. Without this, you will not be able to access the system. Ensure you upload your Working With Children Check correctly as otherwise your registration will not be approved. Register here: https://www.playfootball.com.au/club-registration-search Allow one day for your data to sync across both portals.
