We are seeking a suitable candidate for this role to provide the following support for the Club Treasurer. No direct experience is necessary; however a basic understanding of financial statements and general arithmetic competency is required, along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft excel.
Assist the Club Treasurer and Bookkeeper with preparation of monthly Committee Reports
Work with the Club Treasurer to build some new budget and forecasting templates for the 2024 season
Provide back up support for Club Treasurer and Bookkeeper during family vacations.
This is a volunteer role, as per all roles for the Beaumaris Soccer Club Committee, and would be ideally suitable for someone who would like to learn and gain mentorship around running financial accounts for a sporting organisation.
Although there is no requirement to attend monthly committee meetings, the key deliverables would require engagement for around 2-3 hours a week, with a focus in the week leading up to meetings. The timely and accurate presentation of financial information in an easy to understand format is a key KPI of the Treasurer role and as an extension for this role.
