Mascot Stan Watches Beauy Demolish Mazenod 4-0

Beauy club mascot Stan watches the boys 4-0 demolition of Mazenod

After a hard fought game against leaders Malvern the previous Saturday, in which Beauy were the better team for most of the game but lost 1-0 after a daft penalty giveaway, focus and discipline were to the fore as Beauy played Mazenod away.

Beauy led 0-4 at half time with a host of chances created with James Pooley master of the midfield. Mazenod fought back in the second half and ensured their back line was less exposed to Beauy's frequent attacks. In the photo is club mascot Stan, the Bearded Collie, watching a Beauy free kick narrowly miss the top corner! Malvern remain Sate League One clear leaders but Beauy's charge up the ladder continues.

Next Saturday is a bye with Beauy celebrating our 50th anniversary at the Pavilion. Tickets are on sale at https://www.beaumarissc.com.au/events/beaumaris-50th-anniversary-celebration with great entertainment from guitarist Luke Joseph https://www.facebook.com/lukejosephsounds/ and sax Gary DeLeo plus comedian Ben Lomas

Our next Senior Men's home game vs Hampton East Brighton is at Beaumaris Reserve on Saturday 16 August 3pm KO.

Come along and show your support for the boys in blue!
