Conceding in the 8th minute followed by a Sam O’Regan own goal before the 25 minute mark was an ordinary start, only compounded by a 3rd goal on 30 minutes to leave the home side scrambling.
A far better second half saw Ryan Brown finish an excellent move to give some hope on 73 minutes and a penalty from Jason Dunphy in added time saw the Eagles hanging on at the end, but surviving.
U21 team grabbed their first win of the season with an excellent performance for a 4-2 victory.
