Mazenod 2 - 2 Beaumaris
With the restart of the post Lockdown4 season set for 3 pm on Saturday 19 July, Beauy missed the jump and were two goals down by 3.10 pm!
The older artificial pitch took some getting used to, but after a very poor start, Beauy worked their way into the game and began to dominate possession, scoring just prior to the break with a strike from Ryan Brown
The second half was more of the same with Beauy dominating, but Mazenod dangerous on the break and forcing keeper Jarrod Hill into a couple of handy saves.
New boy AK Singh, making his debut on the left, finished a good move to level the scores with 30 minutes to go and all seemed set for a winner, but despite a number of good opportunities, the third goal would not come.
Two points dropped, but Beauy rises to 6th on the ladder with an away game this week at Bentleigh Cobras.
Reserves also drew 2-2
Reserves fought hard before going down 0-1 to South Springvale.
