Return to Community Sport

Hi Members,

Lockdown No. 5 LITE - Return to Community Sport for Victoria

Beaumaris Soccer Club is delighted that we can welcome back players to training and competitions from tomorrow, Thursday 29th July, onwards.

Please read all the documents attached and the below before returning to training and competitions:

Key Restrictions

  • Do not attend if you are feeling unwell.

  • Spectators are not permitted.

  • Attendance is strictly limited to the minimum number required to facilitate the activity, including coaches, required support staff and only one guardian/parent per junior participant.

  • Everyone must sign in using the QR code provided, no exceptions!

  • Hand sanitiser will be available at various locations around the grounds.

  • Social distancing must be adhered to.

  • Face masks must be worn at all times, unless training or competing.

(Players and match officials are not required to wear masks while participating. Coaches and non-playing players aged 12 and over must wear masks wherever physical distancing of 1.5m cannot be maintained.)

  • Toilets are to be used one person at a time.

  • Change rooms are open subject to the density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm.

  • The canteen will remain closed.

At each training session and on game days all attendees must CHECK-IN using our registered Service Victoria Government QR code. It is compulsory for all clubs to uphold this rule. NO CHECK-IN, NO ACCESS!

All Team Managers (or a parent/coach nominated by a Team manager in his/her absence) must have a team list of all registered members and sign in any player participating in training and competitions.

Any Club Officials, Team Managers and Coaches have the authority to act as COVID-Marshals to enforce that QR check-in and restrictions are adhered.

We kindly ask that parents and carers discuss these requirements with their children prior to returning to the pitch to ensure all members comply with the FV Return To Play conditions.

This is again our new normal to keep our training and competitions running. We will continue to keep you informed with any further changes along the way.

Stay safe and let us continue to look out for one another.
