The Committee of Beaumaris SC is delighted to announce the appointment of Christian Liberona as Director of Junior Football commencing next month.
Christian has been involved at Beaumaris since 2018, & has been coaching since 2008 at NPL junior level with Bentleigh Greens, as a Head Coach with Football Star Academy & Future Football & separately managed numerous junior development & holiday programs.
Significantly many of you will already know Christian as he has managed most of the junior trials & holiday programs we have run in recent years & this will provide us with excellent continuity as we plan for the next season, but with the delivery of new ideas & structure is imperative. Critically Christian created & implemented our SHIVER junior development program which was successfully introduced in 2022 & will be further expanded next season.
In summary, Christian has a wealth of hands-on coaching experience & is keen to build a clear development program that accommodates all levels of play & will be supported by a quality coaching program. President Joe Mottola stated “ We have been super impressed with Christians coaching abilities & results; he is dedicated to player & coach development which is exactly the focus we need & I can't wait for us to get going with his plans”. Christian commented “ I would to thank everyone at Beaumaris SC for giving me this wonderful opportunity & I am looking forward to working with our coaching staff in shaping our future footballers”
Work has already commenced on setting plans in place for the 2023 season. Trials are planned for November & you will receive regular updates along the way - it won’t be long before we are back in our amazing new clubrooms in 2023.”
