Disappointment at 2 points dropped would be the view after a 1-1 draw in NPL 3 on a wet and blustery afternoon in Doveton on Easter Saturday. Beauy dominated the game in the first half especially but could not make their possession turn into goals.
Two penalties, one for each side in the first half, were the only scores, with Jason Dunphy scoring for Beauy before an equaliser to Doveton a few minutes later. The second half was more end to end with chances to both sides, and keeper Jarrod Hill pulled off a great save close to the end to ensure Beauy’s 3 x game unbeaten run continued..
Team; Hill, Dunphy ,O Regan, Siamoa, Ellis, Gillespie, Lemke, Pizzirani, Singh, Zanoozi, Brown.
U21’s went down 2-1 , again in a match that should have generated points. Photo is of Tom Colaci scoring the U21’s goal near the end , to peg Doveton back to 2-1 but despite late pressure the equaliser could not be found.
