Hello Soccer Stars!

Grading sessions will be conducted on Sunday 2^nd and 16^th of March 2008. The purpose of these sessions is to identify playersthat will join the U10 "Kangaroo" Teams for 2008.

Note:

1.       The grading sessions are for players who want to be in the "Kanagroo" teams. We are hoping to field two U10 "Kangaroo" teams and two U10 "Joey" teams in 2008.

2.       Independent Coaches from Beaumaris SC will evaluate the players on both days.

3.       Players will be asked to nominate a preferred position on registration day, March 2.

4.       If a player is selected, they will be nominated to a team. If the player refuses the nominated team, the player will be allocated to a Joeys team.

5.       No guarantee can be given that the player will be in the same team as last year.

6.       Inform Craig Wilson on registration day (2^nd March) as to whether the player will be away for more than 2 consecutive weeks during the season.

7.       Players are required to attend both sessions, March 2 and March 16.

8.       Parents to inform Craig Wilson of any issues regarding grading.

·         Location - Parkdale Secondary College, Warren Road, Parkdale (Melways Ref - 87 G8). Refer to the map below for parking

Registration Day (2^nd March) 8:30am to 11am

Practice Game Day (16^th March) 9:00am to 11am

· Coaches -we will have Independent coaches evaluating the players. We also need the full support and involvement of the 2007 U9 coaches to run these grading sessions. NOTE: WE NEED U10 COACHES for 2008!! At least 2 of the 4 coaches from 2007 are unable to return this season.

Participation

· Child MUST wear Shin Pads

· Child must bring running shoes (we have been advised that soccer boots will NOT be allowed on the ground these two weekends)

· Use of a month guard is up to the parents, but is strongly recommended

Requirements on the Day each Sessions

· Bring plenty of water!!

· Bring Sun Screen
