From Joe Mottola - President Beaumaris SC

I am pleased to inform you that our first Melbourne Victory players visit has been scheduled for TUESDAY, APRIL 20 between 5:45PM-7.30PM with two (2) players in attendance.

This visit is an introductory visit to Beaumaris Soccer Club which will be a meet and greet with our junior players in the form of autographs and photos with kids.  For the next Melbourne Victory player appearance we have at our club, we will work to cater more specifically to our individual club needs perhaps some drills, skills clinics etc.

Beaumaris Soccer Club has been an active supporter of Melbourne Victory and in recognition of our valued support we have been invited to participate in this Melbourne Victory Junior Club Engagement Program.

The aim of this program is to foster relationships with junior clubs in metropolitan Melbourne, focusing on the development and growth of grassroots football to make the world game accessible to players of all backgrounds and abilities.

The key components of this program will be to:

-          Develop better relationships with a key group of junior clubs rather than trying to support all clubs throughout Victoria

-          Give back to grassroots football by providing clubs with exclusive opportunities to meet players and money can’t buy opportunities at Melbourne Victory games

-          Encourage more junior footballers to attend Melbourne Victory games and events

-          Raise the profile of Melbourne Victory player’s amongst the future stars of the game; providing role models to junior footballers

Please come along Tuesday 20th April with the kids to support this brilliant occasion at the club.
